Brian is a graduate of the University of Toronto (1986). In 1987, he joined RBC Dominion Securities where his focus was on smaller cap special situations as well as alternative investments. In 1999, Brian joined the M&A advisory firm Goodrich Capital where he was the Canadian managing partner overseeing mandates across a spectrum of industries with a focus on display technologies and mining. In 2004, Brian moved over to the trading side of the business where he spent a year as a proprietary trader with a large Canadian bank and subsequently on his own for four years prior to joining Windermere Capital as Managing Director. His area of focus is the junior and mid tier mining sector. Mr. Ostroff has sat on Arianne Phosphate's board since 2014.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Malashewsky is a Chartered Professional Accountant and began his career with Grant Thorton LLP before joining JDS Energy & Mining. During his time at JDS, Mr. Malashewsky was active in assisting several of their portfolio companies through their project finance and, in the case of JDS Silver, was part of the team that ran, and ultimately completed the sale process to Coeur Mining.
Chief Operating Officer
Born in the Saguenay–Lac-St-Jean area, Mr. David was the former Sustainable Development Vice-President at Osisko Mining Corporation (2007-2012) where he was instrumental in obtaining authorization for construction and development of the Canadian Malartic Project. His experience with Osisko includes project evaluation, consultation and negotiation with regulatory agencies and the different stakeholders as well as the development and implementation of sustainable development policies. He has held various positions in mining, forestry, and environmental operations. Additionally, he has worked for Iamgold, Cambior and Louisiana-Pacific. He began his career with Nutrinor in 1993. He earned his B.Sc. Geology and Masters Degree in Project Management from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. He has been a member of Arianne’s team since 2012 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2013.
Vice-President, Exploration and First Nations Relations
Daniel was born in Chicoutimi and holds a Bachelor’s degree in geological engineering from the University du Québec à Chicoutimi, issued in 1980. He is a member # 205 of Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ). He has more than twenty-five years of experience in mineral exploration geology, working with various companies in Quebec, Ontario, West Africa and in French Guiana, mostly on gold exploration projects. He has been involved in the creation of the Mining Fund of Saguenay Lac-St-Jean and co-founder of the company IOS Services Géoscientifiques Inc. in the early 90s. He is a member of Arianne’s team since 2000, supervising various exploration campaign. He was appointed Vice-President Exploration in 2010 & First nations Relations in 2013.
Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors
Dominique is a 33-year veteran of the Alcan and Rio Tinto organizations, having most recently served as President of Rio Tinto Iron & Titanium until his retirement in May, 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Bouchard held the position of Vice President Primary Metal within Rio Tinto Alcan from March 2005 to February 2010. He was responsible for the operations and implementation of the strategy development for Primary Metal Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Dominique holds a Master’s degree in Management from McGill University, graduated from the International Master’s Programme in Practicing Management (IMPM) from INSEAD University in France and obtained an Electrical Engineering degree from Laval University.

Jim is a Metallurgical Engineer with an MBA in Finance. His educational background in this field led him to work, more specifically, in business and marketing development with companies such as, Exxon, Climax Molybdenum, Bond International Gold and Rio Tinto. He is currently a consultant and employee of Ocean Partners USA and is based in Utah, USA.
Dave is a retired metallurgical engineer. He served as Vice President of Energy and Raw Minerals at Agrium, a leading global fertilizer company where he actively participated in the development of the Kapuskasing phosphate mine.
Marco is a senior mining exploration professional with 20 years of experience in major mining companies such as, Inmet, Barrick, Minnova and Radisson Mining Resources. He is currently Executive Vice President at Probe Metals Inc., a Toronto-based gold exploration company. Before that, he was President and CEO of Adventure Gold. He was a founder and former President and CEO of Focus Metals, a firm specialized in industrial minerals. He has a graduate degree in geology from the University of Quebec.
Siva graduated from Southampton University in 1984, with a BSc Joint Honours in Accounting and Law. After 15 years experience with various banks (The Bank of New York, Fortis and Standard Bank) working in the commodity finance and related fields, Siva established his own boutique advisory company arranging Trade Project Finance. In 2004, Siva assisted the Ocean Partners MBO and subsequently in 2005, joined this company.
Steven is a 32-year veteran of the Mosaic Company and Cargill Inc., having served in various mining and operations roles from production management to President of Cargill Fertillizer, then finishing his career at Mosaic as Senior Vice President of Phosphates and Supply Chain for a business unit with $4.5 billion in annual revenue. Steven touched all or almost all phosphate products, incuding production, manufacturing, procurement, environmental, health and safety, finance, human resources, public and governmental affairs and engineering. Consequently, his, broad management experience focused on the entire phosphate mining to fertilizer products value chain will greatly enhance Arianne’s strategic development as a new global phosphate producer.
Mr. Lafleur has extensive experience in the agribusiness field. For 16 years Mr. Lafleur was with Coop fédérée (Quebec’s largest agri-food organization with annual sales of over CDN $9 Billion), including 8 years as its Chief Executive Officer. As well, Mr. Lafleur was CEO of IFFCO Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited), India’s largest fertilizer manufacturer. Currently, Mr. Lafleur is a member of Anges Quebec (Quebec Angels) Capital, a fund sponsored by Investissement Québec, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Fonds de solidarité FTQ and, continues to sit on several boards including Desjardins Groupe Assurance.
